Richard Holmes – Founder

Rich Holmes received his undergraduate degree in physics from CalTech and was supported at Stanford on fellowship while pursuing his graduate degrees in engineering. He holds 12 patents, with a concentration in optical networking components. He has successfully led several large-scale aerospace activities involving lasers and electro-optical systems.

Brett Spivey – Vice President

Dr. Spivey is a former vice president at Thermotrex, a division of Thermoelectron, where he was responsible for development and marketing of telecom and imaging product, spinning off a number of companies including AirFiber. At General Nutronics, he is responsible for marketing and technical review.

Olav Solgaard -, member of the Technical Advisory Board

Dr. Solgaard is an internationally-known expert in MEMS and wavelength-selective switching. He is currently a professor at Stanford University.

Jon Heritage - member of the Technical Advisory Board

Dr. Heritage is a dean of the field in optoelectronics and an early pioneer in wavelength-selective switching. He is currently a professor of electrical engineering at UC Davis.

Michael Haney – member of the Technical Advisory Board

Dr. Haney is a nationally-known leader in VCSELs and optical architectures. He is currently a professor of electrical engineering at University of Delaware.
